  1. Ugh, I would never boil them. Boiling any food takes all the flavor out of them. Glad you liked them that way, but I would suggest baking or broiling them for 5-7 minutes. We spread them on a sheet pan, put a little olive oil over them and then sprinkle them with Parmesan cheese. I didn’t eat them growing up, but love them the way Andy makes them.

  2. yum 🙂 i find i can work in asparagus when all other vegetables seem absolutely undesirable. i do a little stovetop simmer/sautee and then spray with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper. (and then i eat them relatively quickly…don’t like ’em cold)
